Welcome to the Academy of Dance Arts!

The Academy of Dance Arts has been open since 2000. Desiree LaVigne-Roan, Owner and Founding Artistic Director, has over 28 years of professional dance experience performing, teaching and choreographing. More than 250 students from Mustang, Union City, Minco, Tuttle, Yukon, El Reno and Oklahoma City attend classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Pom, Cheerleading, Tumbling, Zumba, Pilates and Yoga. There are even pre-school programs starting at age 2, programs for recreational students and a pre-professional program for the more serious student.

Voted best dance academy, six years in a row, students excel. "The secret to our success is our commitment to teaching not only the dancer, but the child within. Our ability to facilitate students in building self confidence, self-esteem and how to have fun has been a great asset!," said Roan. The Academy's professional instructors and supporting junior faculty are exceptional role models for students of all ages. "All of our teachers have a great passion for dance and its ability to be a positive physical and creative outlet. We have successfully prepared our students for dance and drama auditions, modeling and pageants, cheerleading and pom try-outs.

We know that you have a choice when choosing an activity for your child and we are honored to be given the opportunity to serve you and your family," said Roan.
