Welcome to the Academy of DANCE Arts! We know that you have a choice when choosing an activity for your child and we hope to meet all of your expectations. We are going into our 9th season and serve 250 plus dance students. Our faculty is led by the Academy’s founder and owner, Desiree-LaVigne-Roan. Ms. Roan has over 25 years professional dance experience performing, teaching and choreographing. Our instructors are adult professionals with several years of dance experience; Stephanie Crosby (M.A. & B.F.A, Florida State University), Hailey-Marie Hinkle (UCO Dance Major), Jessie Miller (OCU Dance Major), Shelby McClure (Director of Lawton-Ft. Sill Cavalry CBA Basketball Dance Team), Brittany Smith (UCO Dance Major), Crystal Wellman (OKC Ballet), James Williams (OKC Ballet), and Ellen Roberts (East Central University). Supporting faculty includes Cassy Krug, Mustang High School and Caitlin Yancey, Yukon High School, both of whom have been training with the Academy for several years and have been in our teacher training program for the past three years. Our faculty members are available for private and semi private coaching. We have successfully prepared our students for dance and drama auditions, modeling and pageants, cheerleading and pom try-outs.
